How to read this breast lift case
Take a moment with the photos before you read anything else. Look at the "before" image first and notice where the breasts sit on the chest, how the nipples point and how much fullness there is in the upper part. Then look at the "after" and see what changed.
A few specific things are worth checking in a breast lift case like this one:
- Nipple position. In a well-positioned breast, the nipple sits near the center of the breast mound and points slightly forward or upward, instead of down.
- Breast shape. Look at the upper slope and the lower curve. A lift moves the tissue higher on the chest and gives the breast a rounder, more youthful shape.
- Symmetry. No pair of breasts is perfectly matched, so a small difference is normal. Look for a general balance instead of an exact match.
- Scars. Notice where the scars sit and how visible they are. Scars change over time, so ask when the "after" photos were taken.
- Proportion. Check that the result suits the rest of the body, not just the chest in isolation.
Lift or lift with implants?
This case is filed in a gallery that covers both a breast lift on its own and a breast lift with implants. The difference matters. A lift alone repositions your own tissue and keeps a similar size. Adding an implant also increases volume, mostly in the upper part of the breast. If you can't tell from the photos which approach was used, that's a good question to raise at your consultation, and Dr. Bellamy can explain the reasoning for each.
For a full explanation of both options, see the breast lift gallery guide.
A note about results
Every patient is different. Skin quality, tissue, starting position and healing all affect the outcome, so a result you see here is an example of what was possible for one person, not a promise for another. The best way to learn what could be achieved in your case is an in-person consultation, where Dr. Bellamy can examine you and talk through your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this case show a breast lift alone or a lift with implants?
This page sits in a gallery that includes both. Whether a specific case involved an implant is something to ask about at a consultation, where Dr. Bellamy can explain how each approach changes the result.
When were the after photos taken?
Timing varies from case to case, and healing continues for months after surgery. Shape and scars both change over time, so ask about the timing whenever you compare photos.
Will my breast lift look like this?
Not exactly. Your anatomy, skin and healing are your own. A consultation with Dr. Bellamy is the best way to understand what is realistic for you.
